COLONEL TERRY L. BULLARD

Colonel Terry L. Bullard is the Vice Commander, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), headquartered in Quantico, Virginia.  This field operating agency is responsible for providing  Air Force commanders and other Department of Defense customers independent, professional investigative services in fraud, counterintelligence and major criminal matters worldwide.  Investigations and operations are conducted by a network of military and civilian special agents operating from major Air Force installations and special operating locations at more than two hundred and sixty geographically separated units.

 

Colonel Bullard entered the Air Force in 1993 as a distinguished graduate of the AFROTC program at The Citadel.  Upon commissioning, he was directly accessed into the AFOSI.  Colonel Bullard has served as a Special Agent, Operations Officer (garrison and deployed), a Forensic Science Specialist, Staff Officer, two-time Detachment Commander in overseas locations, and squadron commander as well as teaching on the faculty of Air University in both research and strategy.  Col Bullard deployed five times throughout the Central Command AOR in both tactical level counterintelligence related activities and at the operational level as the Deputy J2X Forward, USCENTCOM, and Commander, 24th Expeditionary Field Investigations Squadron.  Prior to assuming his current position, he was the Commander of the AFOSI 2nd Field Investigations Region, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, supporting Air Combat Command worldwide.
