Air Force Office of Special Investigations headquarters personnel gathered at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Va., Aug. 11, to celebrate the life and legacy of Fallen Special Agent Rick Ulbright with a memorial one mile run/walk. On Aug. 8, 2004, SA Ulbright was wounded in a rocket attack while conducting polygraph examinations at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq, and later died from his injuries. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star, the Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award and the Defense of freedom medal.
