  • Former AF civilian gets 15-year prison sentence for fraud

    A San Antonio man was sentenced in a federal court April 24 to 188 months in prison for wire fraud and tax fraud. As part of a scheme that spanned over 10 years, he conspired with others who paid him more than $2.3 million in cash and bribes for $100 million in work on AF projects.

  • SA Pearl Mundt named OSI’s top civilian leader

    Special Agent Pearl S. Mundt has been named OSI’s new executive director. Mundt will serve as the deputy to the OSI commander. As the eighth Executive Director in the Command's history, and first female appointed to the position, Mundt is scheduled to assume the role April 24. 

  • Det. 806 goes the extra mile(s)

    In two separate instances in 2022 Office of Special Investigations Detachment 806, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., identified Airmen in need and used their resources to safely return them to their home base.

  • NCO jailed 14 months for abusive sexual contact, assault

    Following an investigation by OSl Det.522, an Air Force noncommissioned officer was sentenced to 14 months in jail for abusive sexual contact and assault. OSI Det. 522 initiated the investigation based on information provided by the 39th Security Forces Squadron at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
