'Portraits in Courage' features AFOSI Special Agents

In trouble spots on the battleground, today's Airmen demonstrate their mettle in the face of danger -- that's the underlying message of the chief of staff's Portraits in Courage.

The chief of staff of the Air Force selects very few people from across the entire service to profile in his CSAF "Portraits in Courage." In the latest edition two members of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations were selected by the Chief to be recognized in this program.

Special Agent Jac A. Christensen and Special Agent Jim Collins were selected for their heroic acts. Click below for information describing their accomplishments.

"Incredible acts that they were, I am not surprised that two of our family put themselves in harm's way to help others. While they certainly did not want any publicity for their deeds I am proud to share them with all of you," said Brigadier General Dana Simmons, AFOSI commander.
