HQ OSI Financial Management Division recognized by Air Force Financial Management as pick for Top-Notch Tuesday Award Published April 15, 2014 By AFOSI Public Affairs Office QUANTICO, Va. -- It's Top-Notch Tuesday! This week, we spotlight Headquarters Air Force Office of Special Investigations Financial Management Division, Quantico, Va. The HQ AFOSI Financial Management team is being recognized by Secretary of the Air Force's Financial Management Division for the Top Notch Tuesday Award on its Facebook page for April 2014. The HQ AFOSI/FM Directorate provides financial analysis and limited financial services to more than 3,500 personnel in direct support of the 220+ locations worldwide. The HQ AFOSI Financial Management team provides daily support to Financial Managers at eight regions, the Defense Cyber Crime Center, the Procurement Fraud Division, the Special Projects Division and the Special Investigations Academy. The 10-member team's professionalism is proven through numerous well-deserved individual and team awards to include: AFOSI SNCO of the Quarter, Volunteer of the Quarter, and Team of the Quarter, AFOSI Senior Civilian of the Year 2013. Two of their teammates have also received senior non-commissioned officer promotions this year. Currently, one of their team members is deployed. The AFOSI/FM is proud of their strong participation in several community programs in and around Virginia such as Stafford Emergency Relief through Volunteer Efforts (SERVE), working on the AFOSI annual family picnic, and serving as treasurers of the Top 3 and First Six command groups. The AFOSI/FM members truly embrace the importance of positive relationships by providing TOP-NOTCH support to their customers and community.
