Brigadier General LAURA S. DEJONG

Leading up to her selection as Commander, Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Brig. Gen. Laura DeJong served as Chief of Staff, Security Assistance Group–Ukraine (SAG-U), Wiesbaden, Germany, a joint and multinational organization coordinating security assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Brig. Gen. DeJong received her commission in 1999 through ROTC from University of Utah and joined the AFOSI. Brig. Gen. DeJong has served in a variety of roles including detachment, squadron, wing, deployed, and joint positions. Prior to her assignment at SAG-U, Brig. Gen. DeJong served as the AFOSI 5th Field Investigations Region, Commander, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. In this position, Brig. Gen DeJong was responsible for supporting seven main operating bases and 35 geographically separated units throughout Europe and Africa in support of United States Air Forces in Europe, Air Forces Africa, United States European Command, and United States Africa Command.
