QUANTICO, Va. -- During the Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., Air Show, April 8-9, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team performed a dedication flight to honor AFOSI Special Agent Chester McBride of OSI Detachment 405 at Maxwell, who was a member of the Hustler 6 patrol, killed Dec. 21, 2015 when they were attacked by a motorcyclist carrying an explosive device near Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan.
Fellow Det. 405 SAs met the pilot and crew and toured the F-16 dedicated in McBride's name for the show. The agents are framing a section of the plane's fuselage which reads: "In Memory of Staff Sgt. Chester J. McBride."
