Air Force staff sergeant dies in motorcycle accident Published April 23, 2008 ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- Staff Sergeant Eugene R. Kay of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations was killed in a motorcycle accident on April 19 in Calvert County, Maryland. Kay, 37, a network enterprise controller for AFOSI at Andrews AFB, was traveling in Calvert County, Southeast of Andrews, at the time of the accident. Kay, a U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, is originally from Schaumburg, Ill., and had been working with AFOSI in the field support squadron since December 2004. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family," said Mr. Douglas Thomas, AFOSI executive director. "Sergeant Kay will be missed, but not forgotten," Mr. Thomas said.
