Brig. Gen. Keith M. Givens, AFOSI commander and personnel from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations attended a joint Police Week wreath-laying ceremony in conjunction with agency counterparts here at the Russell-Knox Building May 13.

The annual event was the second one to be held at the RKB, and was attended by nearly 300 people, including family members of AFOSI's fallen. This year the event was hosted by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

Leadership representatives from AFOSI, NCIS, the Defense Security Service and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command were on hand to place the memorial wreaths at the base of the flag poles in front of the RKB.

Mr. Mark Ridley, NCIS deputy director spoke to the crowd about law enforcement members who put their lives on the line every day for the safety and protection of others.

Part of the ceremony was a reading of an "End of Watch" list that included the names of each agency's fallen members who died in the line of duty. Each agency read their respective fallen members' names.
