Ruck march
Eight members from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations Headquarters participated in a 31-mile ruck march in honor of the 31 lives lost when a helicopter went down in eastern Afghanistan Aug. 5, 2011. 30 American servicemembers and their K9 perished in the crash along with eight Afghan nationals. The OSI team's ruck march took them through Washington, D.C., to their final destination at Arlington National Cemetery. They were part of a group of 68 ruckers who embarked on the challenge that day. (U.S. Air Force photo courtesy of Master Sgt. John Percey.)
