In 1959, an Algerian terrorist (right) claimed to be a member of the Front de la Libération Nationale (FLN) and attempted to purchase machine guns and pistols from the U.S. Airman (left), near Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The Airman alerted OSI, who in coordination with the French and German police, recorded and photographed the men throughout an investigation. The man behind the Airman is an OSI agent.
