Brig. Gen. Amy Bumgarner, OSI's commander, was formally welcomed into the general officer ranks during a ceremony at the Clubs at Quantico, Virginia, July 8, 2024. Although celebrated in the summer, Bumgarner has held the one-star rank since Dec. 5, 2023.
