I'm very proud of the work we've done this year. Our operations in support of the U.S. Air Force have taken us all over the world. We've defended our nation, served justice, protected the integrity of the Air Force and focused on finding the truth. Today, our people are deployed in locations across the world to enhance our national security, and we are honored to be a part of that mission.

This holiday season, as we spend time with families and friends, please take a moment to think of the people who are serving in an area far away from their loved ones.

Over the course of the year, OSI has brought our command forward and tailored its capabilities to enhance our role in the law enforcement and intelligence communities. We have assessed our strategic vision, mapped the enterprise, and solidified OSI as a requirements-driven organization. While no one can predict what will come in 2013, there is one thing I know for sure: Our focus will remain on field operations and performance.

As 2012 draws to a close, consider the safety and wellbeing of those around you, whether you are traveling, celebrating, or participating in winter activities. We all have a responsibility to ensure a safe holiday for ourselves, our wingmen, and our families. Ensure everyone returns safely from the holidays ready to take on the challenges of the year to come.
