QUANTICO, Va. -- The Office of Special Investigations led a child pornography investigation into an Airman attending Technical School at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss., resulting in his discharge from the Air Force and pending prosecution by the Department of Justice.
OSI Detachment 407 at Keesler AFB was alerted by the OSI Investigations, Collections, and Operations Nexus (ICON) Center Mar. 25, 2019, that an Airman at Keesler was in possession of child pornography.
Further investigation revealed the Airman had paid for additional access to child pornography.
On Feb. 24, 2020, the Airman was discharged from the Air Force and escorted to the base gate where he was delivered to U.S. Marshals and put in confinement until prosecution.
The case will be prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Mississippi.
